Master songwriter, fellow Austinite, and newly long-haired Bill Callahan will release Sometimes I Wish I Were An Eagle next week. I haven't heard a word yet, but it's a must buy for anyone who loves heavy words and beautiful, sparse music. I had the pleasure of listening to him late last night and into the early morning.
