Antique Bones
So I scored an amazing collection of human anatomical plates from 1883 a few weeks ago and have been selling them at Uncommon Objects. Because it's sometimes hard to sell things I love so much, I thought I'd snap a few photos (my scanner is being a punk right now) of the images in case I ever wanted to reproduce them. They just don't make them like this anymore:

fabulous find - the days of anatomy charts are long gone - not sure hospitals or publishers even support "medical illustration" departments any longer.
