Stephen Wilde

If not for working with the Herschel Supply Co. for STAG, I'd probably have never discovered this fella. Based in Vancouver, BC, Stephen Wilde usually shoots mountain bikers and adventure athletes, but took some time away from the trails to lend some mood to these backpacks.

Ms. Dancy's Trains

My good friend Leighton Dancy recently travelled to the time warp of a town that is Galveston, TX to photograph the abandoned railcars of this once stately city. Long ago the capital of The Republic of Texas and one of the busiest ports in the nation, Galveston was all but destroyed by a hurricane in 1900 and never fully recovered from the storm. The natural disaster remains the deadliest in American history. So, I don't know when these trains stopped running (I'd imagine probably not until the 50s), but in many ways they've gone the same way of the city that began its deterioration over 100 years ago. Beautiful work Leighton.

Norse Projects Photos

Season in and season out, Denmark's Norse Projects is one of the more easily recognizable lines in men's clothing. It's all navy and white and horizontal-striped. Very nautical-influenced. But this ain't about the clothes. It's about the images that accompany their website and look books, etc. etc.. I don't know who the photographer is, but the images he / she captures are unique as Norse's line of clothing.

Bigger Than Giants

I saw this fellow's work during Austin's E.A.S.T. show this year and just got around to looking it up online. He says his name is Ryan. That's all I know. Except that he's talented. Bigger Than Giants.
